A little poetry for Tuesday.

you are so beautiful, my love

as I examine the contents of your stomach

and prove that beauty is more than skin deep;

witness

the delightful crimson as it mixes with the greens and browns of your final meal

and then I close my eyes as your innards pass between my fingers

reminding me

you have never been more beautiful,

my love.
